Phenakitoscope: The phenakitoscope featured spinning disks reflected in mirrors that

Flip-Book: The flip-book, also known as the kineograph, reached a wide audience and is credited
with inspiring early animators more than the machines developed in this era.

Praxinoscope: A praxinoscope is a machine which includes various pictures in a wheel type shape.  The idea of a praxinoscope is that when it is spun the various images move so fast that it gives off the illusion that it is moving.

Flip-book task:

Flip-books have a drawing on each page which are extremely similar so that when the pages are flipped it looks like it’s moving.

The flip-book I designed was supposed to be of a man hitting a baseball with a bat as it slowly approaches. With him eventually hitting it and knocking it away. I had an issue making the grass he was standing on look the same each time and making the bat move round the man as he tries to swing. Some of the pictures were easy where as it was harder at some point.
