Production

Before I could do any filming I needed to gather the appropriate equipment for example a camera and tripod. I also needed the storyboard and the shot list.

We followed the plan for where the pictures were to be taken exactly as it said.  The first location that was filmed was at the student entrance. This had to be reshot as people kept walking in front of the camera.

The next location was the Mardale shop. We decided to use a close up shot of the shop sign as we wanted to show one of the cafes/shop in college.

The next was  a mid shot of the football court as we wanted to show the whole court. This shows one of the enrichment areas at Runshaw.

We then did a mid shot of the bridge as it is one of the nicer outdoor areas and we wanted another outdoor shot of the college.

We wanted to show a busy area with students working so we decided to film in the study zone. Before we could film there though we had to ask the permission of the students who were working there if they were happy to be filmed.

We also had to reshoot the last scene of the car park because people kept walking in front of the camera again.

We had to go to the editing suite to record the script so we could add sound to the film. We discussed in our team who would record which part of the script and we each took it in turn to read our part of the script.
